Self-hardening polymerized clay, watercolors, textile, epoxy resin, metal mesh, 2025
The Spirits, created with a metallic skeleton and enveloped in resin-coated hand-dyed fabrics, display faces covered by polymer-clay and watercolor masks that do not represent an individual but a human type, a true archetype. For this reason, they are conceived with a strongly symbolic value: metaphysical presences that, when placed side by side, evoke an almost sacred ritual, a moment of worship suspended between multiple dimensions.
Here, the spirit and the mask become a device that allows the subconscious to emerge: they bring hidden impulses and inner truths to the surface — truths that cannot be shown with an uncovered face.
