Yuval Avital had been a soloist of classical guitar until 2007, seamlessly combining Eastern and Western traditions, balancing between classical repertoire and contemporary music, while engaging in a multidisciplinary artistic dialogue. Avital’s performances include both written compositions and improvisation, reflecting his deep creative mastery.
Graduating from the Jerusalem Music Academy and having studied under the renowned M° Angelo Gilardino and M° Luigi Biscaldi, Avital initially established himself as a virtuoso soloist of classical guitar. His early career was marked by performances of classical masterpieces in prestigious venues such as the Centre Pompidou in Paris, Palazzo Reale in Milan, and the National Conservatory of China in Beijing. He was also the recipient of numerous world premieres for solo guitar, many composed specifically for him by contemporary composers.
